The suggestion was made that The LU112-NECA Electrical Training Center add a few new classes to the Journeyman Class Schedule…so we did! Below you will find a little bit more information regarding our existing classes…along with some new topics, such as Fire Alarm, Electrical Safety Related Work Practices (NFPA 70E), Codeology and more! We have put together a couple of 12 hour courses for those of you who just want to take 3 or 4 courses to complete your required CEUs. We have also added a few “lab” type courses for those of you who are interested in getting some hands on experience…please be sure to have appropriate lab attire as it will be required. Exact descriptions of lab attire may vary slightly per class, but you are always safe to dress work appropriate…sturdy shoes, long pants, sleeved shirt, long hair pulled back & no dangling jewelry. All of the listed classes are approved in both Washington and Oregon. The newly required OAR class for Oregon Licenses is no being offered too! Please be sure to note which courses give credit for Washington or Oregon or Both. CEU credit hours for a course may also differ in WA and OR.
CODE UPDATE COURSES
**These two courses can be taken in any order…and count for 8 hours of Code Update & 8 hours CEUs if you take both of them…that means only 4 hours of RCW/WAC and/or 4 hours of OARs, plus 4 hours of additional CEUs to complete the Washington and/or Oregon CEUs for license renewal!!
